If you want to know what's the one big lie that multi-million dollar companies of foreign-language products have told us for years, then keep reading....

For decades, the multi-million dollar companies of foreign language products have told us a big lie....

They've lied to us all and said anyone can become fully conversational or even fluent in a foreign language just by learning a few hundred words or less.

As a life-long student of foreign languages who has dedicated the better part of his adult life helping others to learn Spanish, I can tell you that's complete hogwash!

The big companies tell us this lie so they can put as little effort as possible in creating their programs - which for them means being able to make as much money as possible.

There was a time when I actually believed that ridiculousness. That I could become fully conversational in Spanish or even fluent in just by learning a few hundred words.

That was before I moved to Colombia and was hit with a bombshell....

While living in Colombia, I realized the more Spanish words I learned, the more Spanish I was able to speak and understand. And the more Spanish that I was able to speak and understand, the more confidence I had communicating with Spanish speakers. And the more confidence I had, the more effective I became communicating in Spanish.

This bundle will help you accomplish your goal of speaking Spanish with greater confidence by adding hundreds or even thousands of Spanish words to your vocabulary.

What's included in your three audiobooks?:

  • 1,000 Spanish words
  • 99 Spanish conversations
  • 150 Spanish idioms
  • PDF transcript to lessons
  • Only native Spanish-speaking voice actors so you develop an authentic Latin American Spanish accent

To add hundreds or even thousands of words to your Spanish vocabulary and accomplish your goal of speaking conversational Spanish with much greater confidence, this is what you need to do now....

Click the BUY now button.

PLEASE NOTE: When you purchase this title, the accompanying PDF will be available in your Audible Library along with the audio.

Useful Spanish at a bargain. I am very impressed with this audiobook. There is more than enough content to keep you busy for a while. In fact there are over 15 hours of recorded Spanish lessons, covering everything from the 1,000 most common Spanish words and phrases, 99 actual Spanish conversations, common Spanish expressions and sayings, Romantic words and phrases in Spanish. There are even tips on how to avoid common Spanish blunders. One thing that really stands out is that it has helped me with my pronunciation in Spanish.Dont purchase. Not an audio book. NOT an audio book as described.Someone lied, NOT 3 Audiobooks but 9 Audiobooks This audible comes with a total of 9 audiobooks - NOT three. The 9 audiobooks are:1. 1,000 Spanish words (listening and repeat version)2. 1,000 Spanish words (listening ONLY version)3. 99 Spanish conversations4. 150 Spanish Idioms5. Romantic Spanish words and phrases6. Common Spanish blunders to avoid7. Bonus lessons sample from New Millennium Beginner Spanish8. Bonus lessons sample from Fast Lane Beginner Spanish9. Bonus lessons sample from the original version of their Spanish programI am definitely not complaining that there are 9 audiobooks when they only advertised that there are three. The 1,000 Spanish words audiobook is helping me to learn a lot of vocabulary words. The 99 Spanish conversations is also improving my vocabulary while improving my listening comprehension in Spanish. The 150 Spanish idioms is probably more for entertainment. I doubt that I will ever use these Spanish expressions but it is still great to know and understand them in case I ever hear a Spanish speaker say them.I don't think I'll be using what I am learning in the Romantic Spanish Words and Phrases audiobook. LOL. But still very fun to listen to. But I must say that I am really enjoying the Spanish blunders audiobook. I wish it was longer. The Spanish blunders audiobook is too short and left me wanting to hear more because it was so helpful in teaching me to avoid lots of Spanish mistakes that English speakers commonly make when speaking Spanish.Considering what I paid for the 9 audible books, I must say that I got my money's worth. By the way, I also have Patrick Jackson's Learn Beginner Spanish Bundle and I will say that this 3 in 1 audiobook (actually 9 in 1 audiobook) and Patrick Jackson's Learn Beginner Spanish Bundle work hand in hand.

ISBN: B075RT7BCG
Title: Chain of Gold (The Last Hours Book 1) Pdf
From #1 New York Times and USA TODAY bestselling author Cassandra Clare comes the first novel in a brand-new trilogy where evil hides in plain sight and the only thing more dangerous than fighting demons is falling in love. Chain of Gold is a Shadowhunters novel.

Cordelia Carstairs is a Shadowhunter, a warrior trained since childhood to battle demons. When her father is accused of a terrible crime, she and her brother travel to Edwardian London in hopes of preventing the family’s ruin. Cordelia’s mother wants to marry her off, but Cordelia is determined to be a hero rather than a bride. Soon Cordelia encounters childhood friends James and Lucie Herondale and is drawn into their world of glittering ballrooms, secret assignations, and supernatural salons, where vampires and warlocks mingle with mermaids and magicians. All the while, she must hide her secret love for James, who is sworn to marry someone else.

But Cordelia’s new life is blown apart when a shocking series of demon attacks devastate London. These monsters are nothing like those Shadowhunters have fought before—these demons walk in daylight, strike down the unwary with incurable poison, and seem impossible to kill. London is immediately quarantined. Trapped in the city, Cordelia and her friends discover that their own connection to an dark legacy has gifted them with incredible powers—and force a brutal choice that will reveal the true cruel price of being a hero.

The Drunken Botanist Pdf

ISBN: 1616200464
Title: The Drunken Botanist Pdf
Author: Amy Stewart
Published Date: 2013-03-19
Page: 400

An Amazon Best Book of the Month, March 2013: Peppered with fascinating facts and well-chosen anecdotes, Amy Stewart’s brisk tour of the origin of spirits acquaints the curious cocktail fan with every conceivable ingredient. Starting with the classics (from agave to wheat), she touches on obscure sources--including a tree that dates to the dinosaur age--before delving into the herbs, spices, flowers, trees, fruits, and nuts that give the world’s greatest drinks distinctive flavors. Along the way, you’ll enjoy sidebars on bugs in booze and inspired drink recipes with backstories that make lively cocktail party conversation. Like Wicked Plants, this delightfully informative, handsome volume isn’t intended as a complete reference or DIY guide, but it will demystify and heighten your appreciation of every intoxicating plant you imbibe. --Mari Malcolm "Amy Stewart has a way of making gardening seem exciting, even a little dangerous." —The New York Times "Many boozy books have been published over the years, spilling over with fun facts about absinthe, grog and bathtub gin. What makes Stewart's book different is her infectious enthusiasm for the plants, their uses, their history, and the botanists who roamed the earth finding them. The result is intoxicating but in a fresh, happy, healthy way." —USA Today"The Drunken Botanist is a sipping book, not a quaffing book, best enjoyed in moderation...Part Ripley’s Believe It or Not, part compendium on the order of 'Schott’s Original Miscellany' and part botanical garden tour, albeit with a curated cocktail party at the end . . . a companionable reference and whimsical recitation of historical-botanical trivia, with a little tart debunking." —The Washington Post "Sipping an evening cocktail while flipping through this fine volume, I discovered that Ms. Stewart knew how to change a run-of-the-mill cocktail into an intriguing one." —The Wall Street Journal "A book that makes familiar drinks seem new again…Through this horticultural lens, a mixed drink becomes a cornucopia of plants." —NPR's Morning Edition "Fascinating, well researched and instructive — with appealing recipes too." —Rosie Schaap, New York Times "Gardening can be an intoxicating hobby, especially if the botany is booze-related." —The Associated Press

The Essential, New York Times–Bestselling Guide to Botany and Booze

“A book that makes familiar drinks seem new again . . . Through this horticultural lens, a mixed drink becomes a cornucopia of plants.”—NPR's Morning Edition

“Amy Stewart has a way of making gardening seem exciting, even a little dangerous.” —The New York Times

Sake began with a grain of rice. Scotch emerged from barley, tequila from agave, rum from sugarcane, bourbon from corn. Thirsty yet?  In The Drunken Botanist, Amy Stewart explores the dizzying array of herbs, flowers, trees, fruits, and fungi that humans have, through ingenuity, inspiration, and sheer desperation, contrived to transform into alcohol over the centuries.

Of all the extraordinary and obscure plants that have been fermented and distilled, a few are dangerous, some are downright bizarre, and one is as ancient as dinosaurs—but each represents a unique cultural contribution to our global drinking traditions and our history.

This fascinating concoction of biology, chemistry, history, etymology, and mixology—with more than fifty drink recipes and growing tips for gardeners—will make you the most popular guest at any cocktail party.

The book ties together two of my favorite things-- botany and alcohol As an author, I wish I had written this book. I can not imagine a more enjoyable topic to research! The book ties together two of my favorite things-- botany and alcohol. Packed with interesting facts about things I've been putting in my stomach for years that I never knew before. Joking aside, it also provides a foundation to think more about why we like certain tastes, why drinks taste as they do, and the many ways that plant diversity enriches our lives. My Kind of Trivia Lots and lots of minutiae to keep my grinning head spinning, and without the assistance of alcohol!A few very minor points though:Pg 73 "True yams are almost never sold in the U.S." No longer the case. Most ethnic groceries carry varieties of Dioscorea.Pg 89 "Some millets are called broom-corn; the broom shape is an apt descriptor." Think broom-corn is so called because it's used to make brooms, not because of its shape.Pg 120 Jackfruit. "When ripe, the fruit emits a foul odor from the rind.." Ripe jackfruit does not stink, but durian, which looks like a small jackfruit, certainly does.I was a bit disappointed there is no mention of poncirus trifoliata which is hardy enough to be grown in most gardens in the US and bears a very aromatic fruit, which I'm told by a Korean, makes a good alcoholic infusion. And then there is Asimina triloba, Pawpaw, our largest native fruit, which makes a great liquor, available from at least half a dozen distilleries in the United States.Fascinating Tour Intriguing read. I dabble a bit in making bitters, limoncello, and various types of meads and honey wines, and this book provided a fascinating tour of the history of alcohol, while introducing other intriguing social facts, like how slave trade grew to harvest sugar for rum; there's also some wonderful recipes, a fantastic discussion on what defines a top shelf alcohol, and even a history of a number of plants discussed. If you geek out on science or history, or just like booze, you'll probably find something to love in this book.

Highly recommend! I had a very eventful day today, and when I arrived home, this was one of my packages waiting for me. I had actually forgotten I'd ordered it, and was pleasantly surprised when I opened the package. This is a good sized journal, in my opinion. Not too big, not too small. It was thicker than I had imagined, but what's wonderful about this is that there is one page for every day of the year, from January 1 until December 31. I have never journaled before, but I am hoping that by only having to write a few lines at a time that I will be able to do it. Upon first glance, I love it so much that I have already purchased another to ship to a friend.Perfect! 5 years on one page Perfect! 5 years on one page, and it actually gives you more than one line per day. I like that it doesn't have cheesy prompts like some of them.Perfect!! I’m so excited!!!! This is exactly the journal I’ve been looking for. Most other one-line journals are very small. The size of this one is perfect! The cover is adorable and there’s the perfect amount of space for each day. I can’t wait to fill this up with little memories!!

How to Hire a Product Manager

A good review of what product manager interview entails I think there is enough rave about this book and almost everyone around me heard about this book, doesn't matter if they are doing PM interviews or not. And I do think everyone whose interview entails product should read the book to get an idea of key concepts and interview question types.I decided not to repeat the good part of the book, but focus on something I feel this book left to desire and after I failed some PM interviews (Full disclosure: I don't have official PM experience). This book does provide some frameworks for you to use to answer questions; however, it does not really present how you actually apply these in your answers, at least I didn't see much in the example questions/answers. So I was still left in haze when I tried to structure my answer to some questions. Not to promote one book or another, but I think you will be able to form more structured thoughts by reading Lewis Lin's Decode and Conquer. I recommend to read both so that you have a much better perspective on PM interviews.Truly useful on many fronts Truly useful on many fronts. It's not only about the interview - it has helpful tips helping you prepare along the entire job search process. From resumes and cover letters to the technical and behavioral questions during the actual interview. I came cross 2 sample questions from this book exactly as written in an interview with Microsoft.Enlightening read and helpful for your job search and interviews for various positions, not just PM roles.I'm a PM now partially because of this book. Let me keep it simple: this book flat out helped me land a Product Manager job at one of the big 4 tech firms. Without it, and my 15-20 hours of preparation and rehearsal, I never would have gotten the gig. No need for me to say anything more than thank you.
